The City of Abbotsford’s Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join their dynamic team as a Business Systems Support Clerk.
This is an administrative and technical support role providing guidance and assistance on a variety of business processes for specific business systems. The successful applicant will provide user support and assist with in-house training along with a variety of administrative and clerical duties.
This position requires a high degree of initiative and the ability to make good decisions regarding priorities in a fast paced, deadline-oriented work environment. The successful applicant will possess a high degree of technical computer literacy and the ability to investigate efficient ways of providing customer service, support, and/or problem-solving issues, are essential as this position is the department support for all systems.
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Completion of Grade 12, plus post-secondary courses in information technology/computer information systems or a related discipline.
- A minimum two years of business systems support experience applicable to the specific role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with XplorRecreation (aka:PerfectMind) software would be considered an asset.
This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $27.74 to $32.64
