The Position – An Exciting Opportunity to Join a Dynamic Team

We are looking for a high energy individual excited about becoming a key member of our Development Services team that has the skills and technical expertise to identify enforcement issues, develop plans to address and resolve these issues, and respond to complaints related to bylaw violations. The work involves extensive public contact and community liaison requiring the exercise of sound judgement, independent action, and considerable tact and diplomacy.

The successful candidate requires two to four years of experience in the bylaw enforcement field, experience in the court and judicial system and Justice Institute training in enforcement and investigation; or previous experience as a law enforcement officer.

This position falls within the Collective Agreement between the City of Salmon Arm and CUPE 1908. The hourly pay rate for this position is $35.44 and includes an excellent benefit package.
