The Strategic and Corporate Services Department – Information Technology Division is looking for an IT Support Clerk to join their team to work on an auxiliary basis.   
 
Reporting to the Manager, Client and Technical Services you will provide a variety of technical support as part of the Service Desk. Technical duties include logging, assigning, and resolving customer requests using the IT Service Management software, application account administration, general device/mobile device and printer troubleshooting, delivering user training and/or demonstrations and creating documentation. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to the Information Technology field relating to both hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting.
 
The IT team has a culture of listening, learning, empowerment and collaboration. You are detail oriented, have strong communication skills and enjoy working with people. You have some technical experience, including basic skills to resolve routine hardware/software issues. You have also completed courses in information technology; a diploma/degree in a related field would be an asset. Experience with IT Services Desk, tablets and smartphones, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and other common software applications would be advantageous.
 
Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete standardized tests or exercises to demonstrate their applicable skills and knowledge.
 
Salary:
$29.70 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits
(January 2021 rates)
 
Hours of Work:
Auxiliary. Hours will vary.
